Everybody speaks English just fine, thank you very much. Many people feel like they have achieved mastery. But there are blind spots, little inaccuracies that can make us sound slightly off and are detrimental in an academic setting.
I have developed a creative method for teaching English that makes you sound more confident. The method is especially suitable for intermediate level students aged 10-16.
I will carefully assess the current level and formulate clear goals together. From there, I offer a range of activities that are all designed to be as much fun as they are effective. Here are a few examples:
- Vocabulary building using proven mnemonic techniques and music (writing songs)
- Learning how to teach a subject you are familiar with – using only English
- Writing and translating short essays to practice grammar points
- Write (and record) a rap using complex vocabulary/grammar
